What's Up With The House

The orange sheets make the bed look like one giant, square pumpkin. Maybe it will morph into a carriage.

The circus boy poster moved on the purple wall in my bedroom and is paired with a crepe paper bunting.

Also in the bedroom, a look out the window at my little plants. It's chilly at night - I'll move them indoors.

And on the kitchen counter, my favorite cups and the caraway seeds sit in a brown glass jar. I'm gonna cook a rice dish - with curry and caraway and olive oil :)

    1. So you're a chef? Great! I don't excell at cooking, but this is a recipe from my own mind: basmati rice with olive oil, curry, chopped carrot (only half a carrot), garlic, rosemary and caraway seeds. First, I mix the rice with the oil and toss it around on the stove in a ceramic pan, until it gets golden. Then add water and all the other ingredients. Many people in my country like to add an egg to tie the rice together, but I don't do that.

    1. Christine, this is the same trick I used when I started mixing my own herbs and spices: I made a collection of beautiful little jars and put them on the kitchen shelf, right under my nose. You inspire me to post some spice jars pics, someday soon!
