Hello, friends! I want to welcome you with a snap shot from my kitchen counter. We've got a pot of rose-hip (plus a zucchini for dinner). The rose-hip grows in the wild, is full of thorns and makes great tea, full of vitamin C.
A colorful view of my desk, in complementary shades of red and green. This Prague poster never ceases to amaze me. If I close my eyes half-way, I can picture myself lazing on the balcony with a cup of coffee. The poster has been sitting above my desk for the last four years, but it works every time!
I've still got the brown bottle centerpiece and the wonderful dried herbs in subdued colors. Actually, on the balcony there is a box full of these wild herbs left over from this project, so I'm thinking of using them for another project. Maybe a Christmas wreath?
Retro decor in the home office. A pale blue wooden stool, topped with a matching gingham hat box and a vintage mushroom lamp. The cracked herringbone floors, my DIY faux wallpaper and Anais the cat complete the picture.
Yet another night view of the origami Igloo Village (my Advent Calendar for 2013). I wonder if I could place little tea lights inside the igloos in a fire-proof way. Or maybe try with a string of Christmas lights?
Last but not least, a selfie from work. Once more, I am dressed like the Christmas elf! This has to stop :))
Your all random images are wonderful. Especially I loved gingham hat box and a vintage mushroom lamp image and the Christmas elf image:)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ayda! May I just say you are very beautiful on the outside, just like you are on the inside?
DeleteFantastic inspiration as always!

ReplyDeleteStephanie@crazylittlelovebirds
Thank you for the lovely words, Stephanie!
Deletei am always overcome with jealousy for your light filled place! i am not sure anyone has as great of natural light as you do. and have you seen those fake tea light candles. they just take a little battery. those would work! xo
ReplyDeleteThank you, Christine, the fake tea lights just might be the perfect solution for me! Yes, they are tiny enough to hide inside the paper igloos, without the fire hazard :)
DeleteAlways beautiful Meeha, love your shoes♥ and poster!
ReplyDeleteThanks a million! PS: I love these shoes so much, that I bought them in 3 different colors (but please don't tell anyone...)

ReplyDeleteThank you, Alecsandra! I work in an advertising agency, so I can get as creative as I want with my clothes :)
Deletea christmas elf :DD
ReplyDeletebeautiful home, indeed, I love every detail!
You could always try to incorporate Christmas rice lights to Igloo village, I belive placing tea lights under a paper could cause fire.
many greetings!
I just realised that you have a "notify me" button down there. I am going to try to see how it works!
DeleteNow let's see if this "notify me" button really does work or not:)) I never noticed it before, either!
DeleteI was successful adding string Christmas lights to the paper village, so all was not in vain! And today I dressed in red and green again (this time on purpose) but I felt a little bit weird..... :P
I love that blue mushroom lamp! The poster above your desk is very cool and would have been entirely helpful to me in my office days! I loved your advent village when you first posted it and I really love the idea of twinkle lights in it! And.....I love, love, love the fact that you dress like an elf on occasion! What a merry office it would be if everyone did at holiday time!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Danni, you make my heart smile! The blue mushroom lamp is one of my favorites (now that I think of it, I love all of my lamps with a passion - I'm a lampaholic!) and I begged a friend of mine to give it to me when he gets tired of it. I didn't dress like an elf on purpose, it just happened (but you should know that I am not capable to dress normally, I always gotta have 3 colors on me). That being said, I wish you and your family and friends a happy Thanksgiving!
DeleteYou make the cutest elf! :) Personally, I like the green with the red - too cute. You are always so inspirational, sweet friend. Hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs, Stephanie and enjoy Thanksgiving with your family!
DeleteLove your pictures Meeha! Rose- hip tea taste great. It is too long ago since I taste it. Like your way to dress! Red and green! :D
ReplyDeleteRed and green are among your favorite colors, yes? Today I wore the same colors on purpose - a green winter coat with red stockings :))))) It was fun but everyone kept staring at me...
DeleteOh, keep dressing like a Christmas elf, your shoes are so cute and I love your dress (or skirt). Anais is rather stylish as well!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Magali - I love these shoes so much that I bought them in black and in yellow also :) .... but now I must prepare my boots for the first snow!
Deletethese colors are so bright!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and inspirational images! I love that unique lamp!
