Monday Booster: The Weird Cabin And The Bare Trees

Phew, I almost didn't make it for the inspirational Monday pic! Really, I feel energized by yesterday's lovely wedding, but still... Today there's a gloomy sky and a cold, cold wind. We can't stop time, Autumn is here and soon all the beautiful leaves will be gone for 5 dreadful months (sorry, I am weather dependent and the winter grays are killing me!) If only I could be Butch Anthony and live on his rustic - glam - weird home! With a wooden cocoon and surprising art, I wouldn't mind the bare trees out the window at all! One thing bothers me a little: is that a crow I spy on the decaying chandelier...?

  5. With a few choice furnishings this could be quite a dramatically cozy and wonderful spot to spend a dreary winter. Can you imagine the view all wrapped in the white of a snow fall? Or, you could just come and stay in Florida where it truly is a paradise for many months on end when everyone else is stuck inside, freezing their rears off or depressed from the gloomy gray skies.

    1. Happy Halloween, Laura, I am already hunting for a nice plastic pumpkin for the swap (I don't think the customs will allow me to send a real pumpkin...)
