The weather is no longer warm and I've got the chills. Out come the sheep skin pillows and the crochet blankets. The light colors are perfect for a winter mind-set, although I can't smell any snow in the air. Not yet. Perhaps for Christmas.... and until then, I've got a whole month of gift wrapping to do. Not because I have to, but because I love to!
Sweet and soft winter corner!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Laura - I think the room looks surreal with so much soft blue and white - now I must add some more color, he he!
DeleteCozy with blankets and pillows good now that it's getting colder :)
ReplyDeleteCold weather remember we had snow?
Now it has disappeared and it's 10 degrees here with us!
Hoping for a white Christmas;)
Have a great weekend!
Janne
We only have 5 degrees here, it's colder than in Norway:))
DeleteBut if we get snow for Christmas, it will be magic!
cosy corner it is ;) blankets are there, all you need is some tea and a good book
ReplyDelete... and some time to read the book! I'm kidding, only last Sunday I read a wonderful book ;)
Deleteyou've got another blog award at my place, come on over ;)
DeleteYes, it's getting colder and wetter. Time to make it warm en cosy in the house. Blankets will do the rest! Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteSweet greets Martine.
i love wrapping presents too! it feels so wonderful. i always make a night out of it and set myself up with a christmas movie, snacks, hot chocolate. oh, i love christmas! i love you sheepskins too!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a child, I insisted to wrap all the gifts for the family. Now I think I'll make a wrapping workshop every evening after work - I love wrapping too much!
DeleteMeha I love all !!! the pillow .. the wallpaper is beautiful
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend !!!
Delicate! Lovely lamp! :) Special wallpaper. Does it inspires you to train?:)
ReplyDeleteLisa, the lamp is simple Ikea and I just painted it from black to blue. The wallpaper, I made it myself from stickers and it does NOT inspire me at all, because I am too comfortable in my room to go and work-out when I can watch a crime movie. I am lazy:))
DeleteA cold front just came through here today too. This morning I was in a t-shirt, now I'm in a sweater and thick socks. It's supposed to get pretty chilly over night. Are you going to share your holiday gift wrapping?? I'm sure you go all out.
ReplyDeleteWell, I loooooove wrapping. I was thinking of ways to restrain myself from posting more than 2 wrapping posts each week :))))
DeleteVery nice place with peaceful and relaxed atmosphere!!
ReplyDeleteHugs Vicky

ReplyDeleteit's so amazing how you transform the look and feel of your rooms. you're unbelievable!
ReplyDeleteThanks a million, Andie, you're so sweet! I'd really like to serve you some hot cocoa in the winter white room :)
DeleteI never tried an all white room but this one looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tina - my trick is to call it "all white" but to mix in a lot of texture (wool, leather, wood) and very pale pastel colors :)
DeleteBeauty-ful! Where did you buy the blankets?
ReplyDeleteAmanda
Hi, Amanda, thanks for visiting the winter white room! The sheep skin pillows are from Ikea and the crochet blanket was custom made a long time ago for my mother.

I love your wall paper, actually I love the entire room. If I could have a white room I would. Not going to stay clean with 5 kids but I can look longingly at yours :)
ReplyDeleteMel, thanks for the great comment. I am not the kind to keep an all-white room because I love color too much, but I wanted to try it for once and it is surely nice to looks at :)
