I love paper crafts. I love paper! And color! Look at the materials I've used - it feels like kinder garden again :)

I didn't have a lot of inspiration, so I thought I just might reproduce the pattern from the Spring Trees free printable. Draw the pattern on a piece of paper, trace it on the back of the origami paper, cut the paper following the outline and glue it carefully.

I've made 20 bookmarks for a family reunion. I just wanted to give them a little something to celebrate the day. Everybody grabbed one, even my old aunts in their 80's!

  7. I love bookmarks! I don't think a person can have enough of them. I think it was a neat idea to hand them out at your family reunion. Thanks for sharing your flashback to Kindergarten with us Show & Tell...It's true what they say, "everything we need to know, we learned in Kindergarten"

  9. These are a gorgeous design - the colours and shapes remind me of peacocks feathers (perhaps its the Arabian Nights turban and the owls too!) I love that you cut the tree instead of drawing it on in ink - great job! Found you via a linky (no surprise) - off to have a good look round your blog - would love you to visit me too:
